Baffinland is looking for candidates for its Heavy Equipment Operator Training in Morrisburg, Ontario

Want to be a heavy equipment operator but don’t have the training? Baffinland is looking for 20 candidates for a free, three-month training program for Inuit interested in a career as a heavy equipment operator. Baffinland is committed to increasing Inuit employment at the Mary River Mine through skills development programs to provide Inuit the tools they need to work at Baffinland. Want to learn how to operate a loader, haul truck, and more? Here’s how to apply:
  1. Apply to the multi-skilled operator position through our website or by visiting one of our Baffinland Community Liaison Officers
  2. If you’re a fit, our team will contact you and you will begin a free, three-month training program this January in Morrisburg, Ontario
  3. When you’re done, you’ll become a heavy equipment operator with Baffinland
